Answer My partner and I are about to move in together and are wondering what is the best way to combine our joint finances? JJ, Hawthorn

Answer In June 2006 I made a contribution into my super fund so I could qualify for the Governments Co- Contribution (GCCS) but I just got my super fund statement that shows my contribution but there is no record of the Govt amount. Is there something I need to do to apply for this? PM, Kilsyth

Answer There seems to be on enormous amount of attention being placed on superannuation at present. As a 35 year old whose main financial strategy has been to try and reduce down a sizeable mortgage, I am now feeling a bit concerned that I should be doing more in relation to the new super changes? Answer I have two children aged 7 and 9 and would like to start to teach them about money. What age should I start and how is the best way to go about it? JT, Malvern East.
